Registration has opened for the next HPNA Clinical Practice Forum, taking place on September 19-21, 2019, at the Marriott City Center in Pittsburgh, PA. This year's theme is Transforming Palliative Care Through Professional and Clinical Leadership, and we are planning several exciting presentations all day Friday and Saturday morning around that theme.
Preconferences presented on Thursday, September 19, include full-day ACHPN and CHPN Certification Review Courses, as well as two half-day presentations by Mary Lynn McPherson, PharmD, MA, MDE, BCPS, CPE. We will also be holding a Risk Evaluation and Mitigation Strategy (REMS) presentation on Thursday evening at no additional cost to attendees titled Pain Management and Opioids: Balancing Risks and Benefits.
By adding a full-day pre-conference, visiting poster presentations, and registering for the optional REMS presentation, attendees to the HPNA Clinical Practice Forum can earn over 21.0 continuing nursing education (CNE) credit hours as well as additional pharmacotherapeutic credit hours where available. We also offer scholarships to attend the event and have opportunities for your organization to exhibit or become a sponsor.
