Important Announcement: OK HPNA Chapter transitioning to Oklahoma State HPNA Community

The national HPNA Board of Directors have made the decision to transition all HPNA Chapters to HPNA State Communities effective December 31, 2024. This decision was made after the Board received feedback from all of the Chapter leaders and members of the challenges they were facing to recruit new members and chapter leaders and a decline in in-person and virtual meeting and event attendance. 

The National HPNA Board of Directors believe that by offering State Communities it will offer more flexibility for us to organize events and gatherings. It will also unburden the local chapter leaders from maintaining banking accounts, filing bi-annual reports and financial statements to HPNA. Instead these State Communities will be self-led, without a leadership board so that all HPNA members can be as active with their State Community and/or other State Communities. The HPNA online State Community will allow us all to connect and network with individuals in our state. 

OK HPNA will continue to host this website and keep you informed up until Dec. 31, 2024 when we transition to the Oklahoma State HPNA Community. You can post and keep up with what is happening in our state community by accessing https://community.advancingexpertcare.org/.
