While we welcome all healthcare and non-healthcare providers to our website and conferences we ask that you please take note that being a member of the okhpna.nursingnetwork.com does not mean that you are a member of the Oklahoma Chapter of the Hospice and Palliative Nurses Association (OK HPNA).

In order to be a member of the Oklahoma Chapter of HPNA you must be a paid-up member of the national HPNA organization. The national HPNA membership fees are as follows:

  • RN 1 year: $115
  • RN 2 year: $210
  • RN Student (full-time student, RN licensed): $70
  • LP/VN 1 year: $82
  • LP/VN 2 year: $140
  • Associate 1 year: $82
  • Nursing Assistant 1 year: $50*
  • Nursing Assistant 2 year: $80*
  • Senior RN 1 year (70 years old and no longer working in nursing): $60
  • Senior RN 2 year: $100
  • Student 1 year (full-time student, non-licensed): $55**

To join the national chapter of the Hospice and Palliative Nurses Association go to www.hpna.org.

Home health aides and nursing assistants are more than welcome to join HPNA, which is one of the few nursing organizations with nursing assistant membership options. The nursing assistant levels carry all the same benefits of an RN membership level, except they are not permitted to vote in HPNA elections.

OK HPNA meetings are generally held in the evenings. Meeting dates, locations and if guest speakers will be presented can be found under events on this website. Our next meeting discussion if Feb 18, 2019. We will be showing the documentary; The Nurse with the Purple Hair.
